MLD has been thoroughly tested under rigorous conditions. Conforming to the standards set by Underwriters Laboratories and the European Directive on electromagnetic compatibility (EMC 2004/108/EC), MLD has received UL, CE and EMC certifications.
UL is a global independent safety science company with more than a century of expertise innovating safety solutions from the public adoption of electricity to new breakthroughs in sustainability, renewable energy and nanotechnology. Dedicated to promoting safe living and working environments, UL helps safeguard people, products and places in important ways, facilitating trade and providing peace of mind.
The Minimum Liquid Detector (MLD) is composed of the 471 valve body with a Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC) sensor that connects to the MLD223/US Electronic Control Unit (ECU). It is used for the purpose of detecting a low liquid level on LP-Gas fork lifts where the maximum working pressure does not exceed 400 psig. The investigation of MLD has been completed under project number 05NK23167 and the subject product was determined to comply with the applicable requirements.
CE CERTIFICATION: CMT MANUFACTURING
CMT Manufacturing BV is specialized in the development, production and assembly of electronic level measuring and detection systems for application in liquefied gases and other (hazardous) liquids. At this, one of its mostly used principles is the capacitive measuring method. So the abbreviation CMT stands for Capacitive Measuring Technology.
CE Certification from CMT
Under EC Directive 2004/108/EC (EMC) applying standard EN 12895 (2000) Industrial Trucks – Electronmagnetic Compatibility, MLD complies with the essential requirements specified. The product is in conformity with the listed specifications and/or harmonized standards.
EMC CERTIFICATION: DARE CONSULTANCY
DARE Measurements is an accredited laboratory for measurements in the field of CE marking. The laboratory has several specialties, including EMC product tests for automotive use. It is a government appointed institute for the EMC and Low Voltage Directives.
EMC Certification from DARE
The Minimum Liquid Detector (MLD) model LS1 has been examined according to requirements set down in EMC Directive 2004/108/EC and standards stated in Emission: EN 12895 (2000) and Immunity: EN 12895 (2000). MLD is issued a Certificate of Compliance under the conditions as described in the test report 13C01304RPT01.
